Setup Zapier Action

On the Zapier action, Zapier users can set up an action by their trigger response.

Here for reference, we have taken the example of integrating Calrik account with Google Sheets through Zapier Integration.

In our example, we set up an action for the Google sheet. Whenever someone joins our meeting using our scheduled meeting link of the Calrik then the Zapier event triggers and does the action that we set up.

For the setup action with Google sheet, select Google Sheet as action on the action popup. You can also set up other actions, This is only for the example.

Select Google sheet and on the event page select event name Create Spreadsheet Row, this google sheet event adds a new row with our meeting data on our selected Google sheet.

Now make a Google sheet like below. 

Using this Google sheet we will store all this record of the scheduled meeting. After creating a Google sheet goes back to the Zapier and connect your Google account to the Zapier that has this Excel sheet file or you can connect any Google account and make a Google sheet for the store record.

After connecting the Google account to Zapier click on continue and go the action tab, on the action tab select google drive, the spreadsheet (that we created), and select the spreadsheet sheet.

After selecting the sheet, Zapier shows all the column names that we added on the Google sheet's first row, and on this column field, we can set up each column value that is coming from the trigger. Below is the screen for example.

You can see the insert data dropdown, there are all fields available for the user that come when someone schedules the meeting and Zapier event trigger. Select all fields in the column that you want to add.

Fill in the all fields below and click on continue.

Now test the action using the test action button. It will create a new row into a selected spreadsheet using test data so we can verify that the action is also working fine and add data to our selected sheet with the proper value.

After performing the test action you can see test data in the spreadsheet. Here is the button to perform a test action.

Once you hit the “Test action” it will add a new Row in your Google Sheet. Below is a sample example of it, how it looks like:

Now publish the zap, after publishing the zap, Zapier will connect to your Calrik account you can see the disconnect button on the integration page for disconnecting the Zapier integration.

Now create a meeting on your Calrik account and schedule a meeting for the testing. After the scheduling meeting, you can see invitee user data in the spreadsheet that we made and connect with the Zapier action.

Schedule a Meeting

To schedule a Meeting in Calrik, here are the steps:

  • Go to Calrik Account
  • Go to Meeting Template, select the meeting, and click on the Copy Shareable Link. The link will be copied automatically.
  • Open the schedule page link in the new tab or we can share this link via Email, SMS, Skype, WhatsApp, or any digital medium to schedule or book meetings with us.
  • The schedule page will look like this as the below screenshot

After selecting a slot we just need to pass the Name and Email to confirm our book meeting.
